Performance
Off-Road
As you might expect, off-road performance is where the Wolf King GT really shines. Wider handlebars provide better control over rugged terrains than its predecessor. The 2 powerful motors can handle steep, and even slippery hills effortlessly. Even in challenging wet conditions, the scooter’s stability and grip were impressive. The acceleration is powerful even when the terrain is rough. The scooter just feels sturdy and safe and the brakes are powerful giving peace of mind in terms of safety and stopping power.
The suspension is good overall but particularly bumpy ground can feel a bit uncomfortable which is worth keeping in mind.
On-Road
We were able to get the scooter up to 62.5 mph (101 km/h) which is just slightly faster than the Wolf King at 60 mph (96 km/h) however the acceleration is definitely quicker due to a larger battery and more powerful motors.
The scooter still feels stable at this high speed, in part thanks to the wider handlebars.
Overall User Experience
Throttle and Display
Another upgrade that stands out is the thumb throttle, which is smoother and more comfortable to use than the Wolf King GT Pro. Another notable upgrade is the new smart display which provides a wealth of information, including battery life, current speed, and motor temperature to name but a few features.
Practical Features
The GT also features a plug-and-play system with waterproof connectors, making maintenance and repairs straightforward. The scooter’s weight of 65 kg is undeniably substantial, but at least the handy rear handle makes it fairly straightforward to lift and maneuver when needed.
